Dr. Danielle Fratellone is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic West 2011 which is in the San Francisco Bay area. After graduating Chiropractic school, she owned and operated an award-winning family practice in Pleasanton, CA for over 7 years. Her practice won “Best of” for several years as well as being congressionally recognized for her philanthropic involvement in the community.

Dr. Danielle is happily married. She met her husband Steve while playing on a coed softball team in CA and they have been together for over 10 years. They moved to Raleigh last year and are excited to plant long term roots in the triangle area.

Dr. Danielle is beyond excited to expand Dr’s Childers team at University Chiropractic and be an active member of the Durham community. Dr. Danielle is a family wellness chiropractor with a passion for pediatric and prenatal chiropractic care. She has been practicing chiropractic for over 8 years and has been trained in multiple chiropractic techniques such as Webster, pediatrics, extremities, nutritional education and BirthFit.

Dr. Danielle is extensively trained in working with pregnant women and children. She is certified by ICPA on the Webster Technique which focuses on balancing the pelvis of pregnant women. Samuel Chatras is one of the assistants/receptionists for University Chiropractic. Prior to this position, he obtained his bachelor's degree in exercise science with an emphasis in physiology at Augsburg University. During his college career, he interned at Twins Cities Orthopedics Performance Center in with the Training Haus team that is based in Eagan Minnesota, from June 2019-September 2019.

This is where he assisted the team on several informational health fact sheets that were to be used during seminars for the benefit of the student athletes that are members at TCO. Sam's migration to North Carolina from Minnesota was in support of his significant other, Britta, in her pursuit of a Duke Law degree. In his free time, Sam enjoys exercise, video games, participating and watching sporting events (mostly football), and exploring new places to eat.

Joshua is a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist. He graduated at Body Therapy Institute in Siler City. Prior to school, he worked in health care and brings a variety of skills from that field and other fields such as physical therapy, customer service and childcare.

He incorporates knowledge from his extended time as a yoga student and active participant in exercise training into his work. For Joshua, these skills give him a unique perspective on massage. Through his passion and commitment to a balanced lifestyle, he seeks to help clients gain a more complete sense of self through a multi-faceted approach.

Joshua specializes in Myofascial Massage with attention on alignment, acute and chronic pain and general imbalances in posture. He is a practitioner of Upledger's CranioSacral Therapy and is trained in modalities such as Swedish Massage, Functional Mobility Testing, Kinetic Neurology, Aromatherapy massage, Hot Stone Therapy and Energy Balancing work. Through his work he finds anatomical knowledge, an intentful clinical method and an awareness of the body-mind connection promotes integration of the work for the client to help form new patterns of healthy flow and movement. Above all, Joshua strives to deliver an individualized session to each client that can be adapted to ensure comfort and relaxation in a positive and safe healing environment.

Tara moved to back to the East Coast in 2018 after many years in California. A graduate of U.C Berkeley, she later attended the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College also in Berkeley. She opened her private practice, Tara Bianca Rado Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine in Durham in January 2019 and was also located for a time upstairs from the Women's Birth and Wellness center.

She is thrilled to have recently moved her practice inside University Chiropractic and offers treatment Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Tara uses acupuncture, herbal medicine, bodywork (including cupping) to treat pain, anxiety, pregnancy and postpartum concerns, fertility, digestive problems and more.
