Danielle Fratellone D.C.
Dr. Danielle Fratellone is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic West 2011 which is in the San Francisco Bay area. After graduating Chiropractic school, she owned and operated an award-winning family practice in Pleasanton, CA for over 7 years. Her practice won “Best of” for several years as well as being congressionally recognized for her philanthropic involvement in the community.
Dr. Danielle is happily married. She met her husband Steve while playing on a coed softball team in CA and they have been together for over 10 years. They moved to Raleigh last year and are excited to plant long term roots in the triangle area.
Dr. Danielle is beyond excited to expand Dr's Childers team at University Chiropractic and be an active member of the Durham community. Dr. Danielle is a family wellness chiropractor with a passion for pediatric and prenatal chiropractic care. She has been practicing chiropractic for over 8 years and has been trained in multiple chiropractic techniques such as Webster, pediatrics, extremities, nutritional education and BIRTHFIT™. Dr. Danielle is extensively trained in working with pregnant women and children. She is certified by ICPA on the Webster Technique which focuses on balancing the pelvis of pregnant women. Also, joining the team, is her puppy “Shasta”. She is a sweet girl who loves kisses. Dr. D and Shasta are looking forward to meeting all of you and being an integral part of the University Chiropractic team.
Lori Glenn, LMBT #4301
Lori was certified by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. She is graduate of the Medical Arts Massage School in Raleigh and has been licensed in North Carolina since 2003. Her interest in bodywork began in college with her concentration in the arts and life drawing classes. Her pursuit to ornament the body with crystals and stones eventually led to her interest in massage and Reiki.
Lori is level 2 Reiki Practitioner certified in the Usui Shiki Ryoho system. She has received training in massage methods such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Hot Stone Massage, Cranio Sacral Therapy and Reflexology and is currently working toward her certification in Visceral Manipulation and Neural Manipulation with The Barral Institute. She has worked in the corporate environment for twelve years doing chair massage, working to improve her clients understanding of their body while sitting at a desk daily. She is also a certified GYROTONIC® trainer and has been fortunate to study with master trainers Kathy Van Patten, Sebastian Plettenberg, Miriam Barbosa and with the creator Juliu Horvath. Teaching this movement has deepened her understanding of the body and how it moves. Lori also teaches educational workshops to couples and groups in massage and movement.

Terri Urban, LMBT #1241
Terri Urban began her healing career as a physical therapist assistant in 1996, then went on to Medical Arts Massage School in 2000, and completed ATSI Structural Integration training in 2008. Along the way she has studied shamanism and energy healing in various traditions including- working with Cherokee teachings with Will Rockingbear and his apprentices, various teachers in Peruvian traditions, Reiki, and Matrix Energetics.
erri is able to bridge physical bodywork with energy healing in a way that is grounded, and practical. She believes in meeting you wherever you are on your journey; she can talk physical anatomy, or dive deep into energetics/esoteric. In every session, Terri allows a space for an organic unfolding for what you need that day. Her massage and structural integration work includes myofascial release, nerve work, visceral manipulation, craniosacral therapy, and deep tissue massage. Shamanic work may include techniques such as cord cutting, soul retrieval, and journeying.

Melissa Borders is the office manager for University Chiropractic. She is a Certified Clinical Chiropractic Assistant and NCCA X Ray Technician through the NCBOE, and a certified BIRTHFIT™ Leader. Outside of the practice she is just starting out as a Birth and Postpartum Doula, and loves to talk about all things pregnancy related. In her free time she enjoys cooking, and spending time with her husband Justin and children Jackson and Alivia.
Melissa grew up in New York on Long Island, and studied Music Education at Temple University in Philadelphia. She is excited to make an impact working with the Durham community alongside Dr Danielle and Shasta at University Chiropractic.
Certified Clinical Chiropractic Assistant
Kendra Beck is one of the assistants at University Chiropractic and is certified through the NCBOE. She grew up in Southern California but studied Business Administration as well Spanish Interpreting and Translation here in Durham. Kendra plans to go back to school to obtain a graduate degree in a linguistic major. She developed a strong passion for community wellness during her time working in a family owned soup kitchen. In her free time she enjoys volunteering, studying language, baking, reading & enjoying the outdoors.
Assistant & Receptionist
Cindy Jones is one of the assistants/receptionists for University Chiropractic. Originally from Chicago, IL, Cindy has been a resident of Durham County for over 20 years. After graduating with a degree in Communications/Human Relations from Western Illinois University, she moved to Florida where she met and married her husband, Andy.
Together they have 3 sons; the oldest is a graduate of Florida State University, the middle son attends Appalachian State and the youngest is a Senior in high school. Cindy assists her husband's State Farm Agency as a marketing representative. She has previously served on the board of directors at two charter schools and a weekday school as well as worked as a teacher associate in an elementary classroom. Cindy has served on several committees and boards for the Boy Scouts, sports associations and her church. When she's not working, Cindy volunteers with animal rescue groups, attends her son's sporting events, reads, practices yoga, listens to music and is always planning her next travel adventure.
